Dad Update

Dad came home with home care. Apparently, the nurse is like Mary Poppins. Dad sang a bit of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious over the phone tonight. We are incredibly grateful for our friend who played an instrumental role in setting up this home care for dad. She really came through for us and I am grateful for all she has done.

Dad has an appointment with a foot surgeon tomorrow at a new hospital. Hopefully, that goes well and we will be able to get all that he needs.

Dad seems to be in better spirits now that he is home. Dad being home is a lot of pressure for mom. She is trying to adjust to his new routine as much as he is. I'm sure when they get the routine down things will quickly settle down. Chris and I will be dropping in on Dad this weekend.

Dad's cardiologist is fantastic and is providing a lot of support for my mother. It is nice to see that a doctor really cares about his patient and the patient's family. We have had some not so positive experiences in the past couple of days. It's good to find people that restore your faith in the medical profession.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. They are absolutely working to help Dad and his caregivers. We would not have made it to this point without your prayers. We are so grateful for everything!
