As the deer longs...

One morning while the hubby and I were in Montauk, this little fella poked his head over the dune to say hello. While Out East, we enjoy the deer that frequently visit us at Montauk Manor. We are fortunate to be able to exist together. One of concerns is always driving late at night or early in the morning but, if you take it slow all is well.

In high school, we frequently sang a hymn by O Wally Wally titled As The Deer Longs. It is a "folky" setting of Psalm 42. Of course as a result of our short visit with this guy, the hymn was in my head for several days to follow.
